Home buyers visit the River Islands Welcome Center for an introduction to the master plan. Visitors are able to use the interactive touch screen kiosk to preview the land plan and amenities. Elements "light up" when activated, with pop-up detailed content. The area map display installed on the wall directly in front of the kiosk, gives visitors a general sense of the proximity of key amenities. Lifestyle, nature, and technology photos are output and mounted on masonite then cleat mounted with dimension. Various 3 Form pressed glass substates were used to create drama and textures. Lettering was laser cut from aluminum and MDF.
